As I write this, I am in Illinois, USA, with my husband, The Maestro. At the end of May, I will be back home in Western Australia. That means that this blog comes at a wonderful time - what better way to relax between two years of studying abroad and returning to full time work than by renovating your house!
Let's just say we tend not to do things the traditional way...or by halves...
Anyhoo, you are about to witness (my best guess) about 6 months of floor laying (yes, we are going to DIY...heaven help us), kitchen sprucing, furniture upcycling, and general purging/reorganisation. And because I can't help myself, there will be plenty of other non-house related creations occurring. I am pretty sure after all this time abroad that I have a stack of thank-you cards to make...and clothes that I haven't seen for two years that I no longer like...and lots of old friends that I must cook and bake for!
